1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website, submitting a service request, using our client portal, or approving an estimate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Sierra Home Repairs (“Sierra,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides residential services including, but not limited to:
- Painting
- Flooring
- General home repairs
- Related improvement services
All services are subject to availability and project approval.
3. Project Request & Approval Process
Our service process includes:
- Submission of project details through our request form
- Internal review by Sierra
- Invitation to a client portal (if project is a fit)
- Completion/confirmation of project details
- Delivery of estimate
- Client approval and scheduling
We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
4. Estimates & Scope of Work
4.1 General Estimates
- Estimates are based on the information provided by the client
- Pricing reflects the described scope of work only
4.2 Remote Estimates
For projects completed without an on-site visit:
- Estimates rely on photos, measurements, and descriptions provided by the client
- Clients are responsible for accuracy
4.3 Revisions
Sierra reserves the right to revise estimates if:
- Project details were inaccurate or incomplete
- Site conditions differ from what was provided
- Additional work is required
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Submit clear photos and measurements when requested
- Ensure access to the property during scheduled service
- Disclose known issues that may impact the project
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in:
- Estimate changes
- Project delays
- Additional charges
6. Approval & Scheduling
A project is not considered active until:
- The estimate is approved, and
- The service is scheduled
Sierra does not guarantee availability until both steps are completed.
7. Payments
- Payment terms are outlined in each estimate or invoice
- Deposits may be required prior to scheduling
- Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed
We reserve the right to:
- Pause or delay work for non-payment
- Charge late fees where applicable
8. Changes & Additional Work
Any work outside the original scope:
- Must be approved by the client
- May result in additional costs and timeline adjustments
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Clients must provide reasonable notice for cancellations or changes
- Deposits may be non-refundable depending on timing and project status
- Missed appointments may result in rescheduling fees
10. Materials & Pricing
- Material costs may fluctuate due to market conditions
- If significant changes occur, estimates may be adjusted with client approval
11. Warranties
- Any workmanship warranty will be specified in the estimate or agreement
- Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper maintenance
- Pre-existing conditions
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sierra is not liable for:
- Undisclosed or hidden conditions
- Delays caused by weather, supply chain issues, or unforeseen circumstances
- Minor variations in color, texture, or finish
13. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason, including:
- Safety concerns
- Inaccurate project representation
- Inappropriate client behavior
14. Communication Consent
By working with Sierra, you consent to receive:
- Emails
- Portal notifications
- SMS messages (if phone number is provided)
These communications are necessary for service delivery.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Sierra Home Repairs operates.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
